Introduction to Electronic Cigarettes, Cigars and Pipes

Electronic Cigarettes, also known as e-cigs are an electronic version of a cigarette. Similarly, Electronic Cigars and Pipes are electronic versions of traditional cigars / pipes. Electronic cigarettes come in various sizes, from slightly longer than a traditional cigarette to newer devices, which can be smaller than traditional cigarettes. The devices are made up of up to three parts – the mouthpiece (containing the cartridge), an atomizer (the middle part), and the battery (rechargeable). Some models have combined the battery and the atomizer into a single unit, resulting in a two piece design.

The mouthpiece of the device contains a replaceable cartridge filled with a liquid containing primarily water, propylene glycol, nicotine, and a scent that emulates a tobacco flavor. When the user inhales through the device, the airflow is detected by a sensor. The atomizer is then activated which injects tiny droplets from the liquid in the cartridge into the flowing air. This produces the vapor mist inhaled by the user. The microprocessor responsible for activating the atomizer also activates an LED (usually orange or red) at the tip of the battery to simulate real smoking.

Custom Colors / Packaging

Electronic cigarettes are available in a wide range of colors and designs. Many refill cartridges can be ordered in a range of standard colors (see picture below). Any custom color can also be produced to your specification. Like the refill cartridges, the main body of the electronic cigarette (battery module) can be custom printed in whatever colors and designs you need. See the picture to the below for some sample ideas.

All electronic cigarette, cigar, and pipe products come standard in attractive un-branded packaging. If you need custom labeling, or packaging to promote your brand or label, Jade Connections will work with you to provide whatever packaging you need.

If you have your own design house, Jade Connections will work with them and coordinate with local packaging manufacturers. Jade Connections can also provide whatever design services you need, from simple reprinting of existing packaging, to a complete custom design based on your specifications. Please consult with your Jade Connection sales representative for more information and pricing. Custom packaging is attractively priced. Depending on the nature of the custom printing / packaging and order volume, often it is possible to incorporate custom changes at no additional cost.

Starter Kits

Each Electronic Cigarette, Electronic Cigar, and Electronic Pipe Starter Kit contains a number of starter cartridges (see the individual Starter Kit description below for details). There are four (4) types of cartridges available for a given electronic cigarette, based upon flavor / nicotine concentration. The relative nicotine levels for each cartridge type are 18g/1000g (high), 14g/1000g (medium), 11g/1000g (low), and zero per 1000g (none).

NOTE: The starter Kits below list the standard combination of flavors and nicotine concentrations. These can be changed upon request. In addition to the replacement cartridge flavors for electronic cigarettes listed later in this catalog, the following flavors are available upon request: Cigar, Panax, Pineapple, Peach, Coffee, Vanilla, and Strawberry.

Refill Cartridges

Replacement cartridges come in several flavors. These flavors are meant to emulate or resemble known brands. These include Marlboro, 555, Cherry, and Mint. The capacity of the cartridges varies based upon the size of the device. The larger devices can carry more liquid and last longer. The estimated number of drags expected for each cartridge is shown in the product descriptions below. To compare with a traditional cigarette, one cigarette can deliver 15 drags. With 20 cigarettes per packet, each packet is capable of approximately 600 drags. The expected shelf life for the unopened cartridge packs is between 1 and 3 months depending upon storage condition. When stored in a dark and dry place, they can be expected to stay fresh for the full 3 months.
